YES! It is free to come to Uptown Live on July 27!

Uptown Live is made possible through funding support from the City of New Westminster, the Uptown Business Association of New Westminster and generous corporate sponsors including our Presenting Sponsor, TD Ready Commitment.

Yes, rain or shine, the party goes on! Join us on July 27 between 4pm and 9:30pm.

Free parking is available at both Royal City Centre and Westminster Centre shopping malls. We encourage you to shop at these local businesses while you’re in the area.

Access to Royal City Centre is off Sixth Avenue eastbound, parkade entrance at Seventh Street. Free parking is also available at Westminster Centre – access southbound on Fifth Street, enter just past Sixth Avenue, and proceed to the upper levels.

There is also metered, street parking available throughout the Uptown New West area.

No time limitations will be imposed during the event. You can park as early at 10:00am and stay parked until 9:30pm on event day.

Buses that regularly run on Sixth Street or Sixth Avenue will be rerouted to run along Eighth Street and Eighth Avenue instead. As the event date approaches, please visit https://www.translink.ca/alerts for reroute details on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Yes, you may bring your pets but they must be on leash.

Subject to approval, the entire festival site will be licensed and we’ll be offering a mix of both beer, cider, wine and seltzers.

City of New Westminster Police will maintain a presence during the event to ensure public safety.

There are also professional security guards around the stages and backstage areas that are not accessible to the public.
